My classic in 2 minutes

In the presence of Ms Juliette Mauget, French Cooperation Attaché, and Mr Guillaume Mouette, our Headmaster, around fifteen high school students took to the stage at the French Institute in Istanbul to present their literary pitches: well done to them for their boldness and for the unique perspectives they shared on their literary ‘classics’!
From Racine and Molière to Ionesco for theatre, the novel genre was represented in all its diversity of tones and trajectories, ironic or poetic, whimsical or intimate, philosophical or even politically engaged (Flaubert, J. Verne, Colette, Saint-Exupéry, Beauvoir, Sagan, Edouard Louis, etc.).
These presentations received special mentions, ranging from the most politically engaged to the funniest, and from the most eloquent to the most poetic.
This initiative was organised as part of the Printemps de la Francophonie with Ms Juliette Mauget, Mr Alain Peksoyler, Ms Sabiha Kabir, Ms Anne Guillet, Ms Sabiha Kabir, Mr Charles Caillaud, Ms Christelle Demange-Ducrot, Ms Idil Özçekiç Seguin, Ms Léa Beauregard and Ms Elmas Yigit Özbinici.
We would like to thank the French Institute in Turkey, Ms Mahacen Varlik, President of the APFT, and Mr Ihsan Aslan, President of the APFA, for their support.
